Mirjana lives in Brampton, Canada. She was born in 1960 in the rural countryside of Southern Croatia. It is here that she formed her love for landscapes. She came to Canada about 22 years ago to start a new life with her husband and growing family. They have been living in Brampton for 18 years now. Ever since she was a little girl, she sought to express herself creatively through artwork which incorporates a large array of colors and textures. Her inspirations are her friends, family and put simply, the beautiful world we live in. Her artwork incorporates different techniques and tools, from oils, to watercolors and acrylics. She loves to paint landscapes and anything occurring in its natural setting, though She also loves to try new unique styles of painting, lately focusing on contemporary abstract paintings. She has recently finished a course on interior decorating at Sheridan College.
