Born in Balbriggan, North Co. Dublin in 1948, David still lives there in his home by the sea.From childhood, he had the gift of a natural ability to draw and paint. In later years, being married, and the father of four children, it left little time for his art. However, in 1998, he took early retirement from his job as a draughtsman, and rekindled his love of art. He rapidly established himself as a full-time artist whose work was in great demand. He works in oils, acrylics, and watercolour, painting a diverse range of subjects from local scenes to impressionistic styles. David exhibits twice annually. He also shares an annual exhibition with two other established Fingal artists.His work is found in private collections in Ireland, Australia, France, U.S.A, England, and Wales.
